A thirty-eight person milestone birthday, the kind with a hired DJ and a guest list that pulls in three friend groups and both families, almost always wants a Saturday. That's the most contested night of the week.

Now add rarity. Very few vehicles anywhere carry this many people with a DJ booth, so the usual three-week birthday planning window just doesn't apply. Set on a Saturday? The 36-passenger party bus gives you the lasers, the screens and the restroom without the DJ booth and the second pole. If your music is a phone playlist, that's the smarter request.

The 40-passenger party bus adds a VIP rear lounge and multiple wet bars, which helps when the group naturally divides into dancers and talkers.

If your thirty-eight are delegates or guests who just need to get somewhere, the 38-passenger coach bus is far more restful. Be realistic about access either way: a party bus this long stays on arterial roads. In Old Town that means Scottsdale Road, Camelback or Indian School, with a walk to the bars, and at stadiums it's the charter lot.

If a guest DJ is joining you, count that person as a rider and count every equipment case too. Decide where the cases ride before pickup so the aisle and the dance zone stay clear all night.

The booth is there, so it's set up for one. What it accepts, whether that's a controller, a laptop or a particular cable, varies by vehicle, so have your DJ tell us what they use when you request the quote. They count toward the thirty-eight-passenger capacity, and they should bring compact gear, since the booth is sized for a bus rather than a club.
In a cabin this long, one pole creates a single crowded spot and leaves the rest of the floor empty. Two spread people out, and they double as sturdy handholds while the bus is moving. If poles aren't your group's thing, nobody has to touch them. They take up very little floor space and most riders just grab one at stops.
Not if the DJ booth is what you're after. Thirty people on this bus get an open dance floor and spare seats for bags and gifts. If the booth doesn't matter, a 32 or 34 will be quoted lower and gives you the same restroom and hardwood floor. Ask us for both quotes and let the difference make the call.
Choose somewhere with its own lot or a spot in a shopping center, because a bus this long can't hold a street curb for ten minutes of boarding. Tell the manager a charter bus is coming. Have everyone settle the bill before your pickup time, since a bus idling while thirty-eight checks get split is the fastest way to lose half an hour.
It handles normal use across a typical four-to-six hour night, and it's meant for convenience between stops. With thirty-eight people, encourage everyone to use the facilities at each venue and treat the bus restroom as the backup. Tell your chauffeur immediately if anything goes wrong.
