Is 16 seats the right size?

Twelve to sixteen people, and it's happiest at about thirteen or fourteen adults.

A full sixteen still works when the night is short hops between dinner and a couple of bars. Everyone has a seat, there's a cooler bar, LED lighting and a Bluetooth system with a subwoofer, but no dance floor. Think lounge on wheels rather than nightclub.

Under twelve riders, the 14-passenger limo Sprinter feels cozier. If your list already reads sixteen with a couple of maybes attached, start at the 18-passenger party bus.

The smallest bus we run, and the easiest one to park. Sixteen leather seats wrap the cabin, the built-in bar keeps drinks cold at your feet, and the LEDs and subwoofer handle the rest.

Most nights on it start at a table somewhere — a birthday dinner in Arcadia, brunch that ran long — and end at a bar or two in Old Town. Nobody drives, and the group stays in one conversation the whole way.

What a night on the 16-passenger party bus is like

Pickup on a small bus feels personal. Your chauffeur greets the group by name, sets the LEDs to whatever the birthday person asked for, and you are rolling before the first round is poured.

Between stops it stays close and loud in a good way. There is no empty dance bay swallowing the sound, just leather seats, cold coolers and a subwoofer you can still talk over.

At the end of the night the short body is the advantage. It tucks into valet lanes and side streets that a mid-size bus has to skip, so you are dropped closer to the door.

Birthdays are the clearest case. The typical Valley birthday group is fifteen people, and lists grow the week after invitations go out. If the group chat says "fourteen, maybe sixteen," this is the size that covers both answers.

That makes it the usual pick for a birthday night, a girls' night out or a dinner that turns into a bar or two.

Count bags, not just people. Four riders carrying gift bags, a cake and a cooler take up closer to five seats. If you're at fifteen with things to carry, ask us to quote the 18 alongside this one.

Size up or size down?

Going smaller means leaving party buses behind. The 14-passenger limo Sprinter seats fourteen in a lower, tighter cabin that slips into any Old Town loading zone, and with fewer riders each share lands in much the same place.

Going bigger, the 18-passenger party bus adds two seats and a little more aisle. The real jump is the 20-passenger party bus, the first size with a dance floor and a flat-screen. If your group plans to stand up between stops, go straight there.

For a night that's dinner, two bars and home, sixteen seats is enough bus. Its short body is also the easiest one to stage under a resort canopy in Paradise Valley.

One pickup address is worth more than any other planning decision on a small bus. Two stops across town to collect four people can cost you forty minutes of a four-hour booking.

Phoenix tips for this vehicle

  • Three to four hours covers dinner plus two stops at Phoenix distances.
  • Meet at one address. Collecting four people across town costs more time than it sounds.
  • Stock the coolers before pickup if you are bringing your own — everyone aboard has to be 21 or over.

Everyone gets a seat, but at a full sixteen it's shoulder to shoulder on the bench seating. For hops under about 25 minutes, most groups are happy at capacity. If you're running Gilbert to north Scottsdale, or several of your friends are tall, thirteen or fourteen is the number that actually feels good, and the 18 is the safer ask.
No. Dance floors start at the 20-passenger size in our fleet. What you get here is an open center aisle, color-changing LED lighting and a Bluetooth system with a subwoofer, so people do stand up and move. The layout is still built around seating, though. If real dancing room is the point, look at 20 seats or more.
Usually none. The bar is already built in with coolers, so most groups just fill those. One mid-size cooler fits on the floor near the bar without blocking the aisle, and anything bigger starts stealing legroom from whoever is sitting next to it. Ask us what you're allowed to bring before you go shopping.
Usually close, not always at the door. This is one of the easiest party buses to stage in the Entertainment District, and your chauffeur will use the legal loading zones on the side streets off Scottsdale Road instead of stopping in traffic. Expect a block or less on a busy Saturday, and agree on a pickup corner before you go in.
