Is a stretch limo the right call for your group?

Pick a limo when the arrival is part of the occasion and everyone will stay seated — weddings, anniversaries, prom couples, quinceañeras, a dinner you want privacy on the way to.

Eight to ten people start with the 10-passenger stretch. A bridal or prom group in the teens wants the 14 or the 18.

They all have leather seating, a wet bar with glassware, fiber-optic ceiling lights, a privacy partition and tinted windows. If your night is more bar-hop than grand entrance, a limo Sprinter or a party bus is far easier to climb in and out of six times.

How to choose

Pick the moment first, the seat count second

Hardly anyone books a limo by accident. It is a small slice of what we quote, and that is the point — people choose one on purpose, for a day where the car ends up in the photos.

Here is how to match it to yours.

Weddings

Most Valley couples end up booking two vehicles: a limo for themselves or the wedding party, and something bigger for guests. The typical wedding group is around eighteen people, and plenty run past twenty. The white 10-passenger limo is the classic couple-and-parents car, and a full wedding party of 14 to 16 fits the 16.

Moving guests between the hotel block and the venue is a separate job. Our wedding transportation guide covers pairing the limo with a shuttle so nobody is stranded.

Prom and quinceañeras

Gowns take room. A quinceañera court of 14 in full dresses is far happier in the 18-passenger limo than squeezed into the 14.

Nearly every Valley prom lands on the same April Saturdays, so limos in the 12-to-20 range go first that month. Call the week your school posts the date. Over twenty riders, look at a 24-passenger party bus instead.

Date nights and anniversaries

For two to eight people, the 8-passenger stretch is the quietest, most private thing we own.

It is built for a dinner near Camelback or the Biltmore and one more stop, not a five-bar crawl. Small groups call us later than anyone else does, so an anniversary three weeks out is an ordinary request, not a scramble.

Client dinners and galas

The Lincoln 10-passenger limo is the understated one, for nights where a white limo would read as a wedding.

If people need to work on the way, or there is luggage coming from Sky Harbor, take the 10-passenger executive Sprinter instead — forward-facing seats and power at every one of them.

What a long car can and cannot do here

Splitting the bill

Limos usually get split between couples or families. Settle it before the night with the split cost calculator and put gratuity in the number, so nobody is doing arithmetic on a curb in heels.

It is a long car

A 20-passenger stretch needs a long, straight curb. Resorts on Scottsdale Road, churches with circular drives and downtown hotels handle it without blinking.

Old Town side streets on a Saturday and small restaurant lots do not. When the front door is not reachable, your chauffeur takes the closest legal curb, so warn the group to expect a short walk at a stop or two.

Fewer stops, looser timing

Getting ten people in formalwear out of a low cabin takes a few minutes every single time. One to three stops is the comfortable range.

Four hours is still the standard booking here, and on a wedding or prom night the photos eat most of it.

Lay the day out with the event timeline planner, then add fifteen minutes of slack before any ceremony or grand entrance. You will use it.

Shoot photos late in the day

May through September, do the outdoor photos in the last hour before sunset. The cabin stays cold, but tuxedos and gowns have no business in a 108-degree driveway at two in the afternoon.

Our limos seat 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 or 22, and that number is a legal limit, not a suggestion. Adults in formalwear take more room than the seat count implies, so leave a seat or two open. A bridal party of nine is comfortable in the 10; a prom group of 13 should be looking at the 14.
We do. The white 10-passenger limo is the one couples and quinceañera families ask for by name, because it photographs beautifully against desert landscaping and resort entrances. If white matters to your photos, say so when you ask for the quote. Want the same size in classic black? That is the Lincoln.
For a small group, usually yes. Trips for ten or fewer have landed around $900, against about $1,250 for a typical Valley night. Those are past quotes, not a price list — your date, hours and distance set the real number, so send us the details.
Stretch limo if the arrival is the moment. Sprinter if the night has a lot of stops. Most small Valley groups pick the Sprinter, because you can stand up and step out easily. The limo wins on photos and privacy every time.
Yes, though count the bags before you decide. A limo cabin is built for people, not roller bags. Send us the terminal, the flight number and how many suitcases are coming. Past a few, an executive Sprinter is the better airport vehicle.
Two to three months out is normal — wedding couples plan further ahead than anyone else we hear from. November, March and October are our busiest wedding months, so those book earliest. A limo for a non-wedding night is usually fine at about three weeks.
The 22-passenger stretch, with the 20 and the 18 right behind it. At that size you get wrap-around seating, several lighting zones and a bit of floor to stand on. Over 22 people, or a crowd that wants to be on its feet, and you want a party bus instead.
