Nine to twelve people, and ten adults is where it's comfortable. A fair number of groups of eight book it on purpose, purely for the extra room.

Same core cabin as the smaller stretches: leather bench, stocked bar with glassware, fiber-optic ceiling, partition, premium sound. No TV and no J-seating, though. Those start at the 14-passenger stretch limo.

Eight or fewer and watching the budget, the 10-passenger stretch limo is enough car. If your twelve would rather stand up and mix, most groups that size take the 12-passenger limo Sprinter.

Drop to the 10-passenger stretch limo and you shorten the car, which helps at cramped valet stands and suits a group of eight fine. Move up to the 14-passenger stretch limo and you get a flat-screen and wrap-around J-seating, a more social layout where people face the middle of the cabin.

In and out of the vehicle all night? The 12-passenger limo Sprinter is kinder on knees and hairstyles, because you walk in upright instead of sliding.

The extra length has a cost. Some Old Town blocks and small restaurant lots won't take it, and your chauffeur will use the nearest legal zone instead. Resort drives in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley are almost never a problem. Twelve shares keep each person's cost sensible, though an empty seat is felt more here than it would be on a big bus.
