Somebody always ends up as the designated driver in Old Town, circling Stetson for a spot while everyone else is already inside. That's the part a bus fixes. Most Scottsdale groups we load are 10 to 20 people, so the usual starting points are a 14-passenger limo Sprinter or a 20-passenger party bus.

Most Scottsdale nights start at a resort driveway or a rental off Hayden and end somewhere near Stetson at closing time. In between there's dinner, a rooftop, a club, and the one friend who needs tacos before bed. Keeping all of that on one vehicle is the whole point, because surge pricing between stops adds up fast.

The city hands groups a lot to work with. Old Town packs its bars into about twenty walkable blocks, the Waterfront restaurants are five minutes north along the canal, and Talking Stick, Salt River Fields and TPC are short hops up the Loop 101. Golf foursomes, ArtWalk crowds and wedding parties all share those roads on the same Saturdays.

Weddings here tend to run resort to resort, along Camelback and Lincoln or out to the Princess, and they're really two jobs: the wedding party first, then guests. Getting picked up in Scottsdale

Scottsdale is long and narrow, and that shape decides your night. A house in South Scottsdale is five minutes from the bars. A rental near Kierland or the Fairmont Princess is 12 to 14 miles north, which is a real 25 minutes once Scottsdale Road fills up on a Saturday evening.

Give us the exact address, not the neighborhood. It changes when we show up and how many hours you'll want.

Resorts and gated communities need a heads-up. Tell the gate or the bell desk a bus is coming, and ask your host whether the HOA lets a big vehicle sit on the street. When it doesn't, we meet you at the entrance instead of losing ten minutes to a call box.

In Old Town the bus doesn't park outside the club. Your driver drops you at a legal curb near the Entertainment District, stages a few blocks off, and comes back when you text.

Most nights leave town at some point, too. Sky Harbor is about 10 miles out, Mill Avenue in Tempe about six, and for horse shows and auctions up north there's the WestWorld arrival guide.

Pick your corner before the first drink. One meeting spot for the ride home, agreed while everyone is still sober, saves more time than any route we can plan. Check your crossings on the drive-time calculator before you decide how many hours to book.

When Scottsdale groups ride

Friday is the big night here, not Saturday. Bachelor and bachelorette groups fly in Thursday, go out Friday, and keep Saturday for the pool, and across the Valley those requests lean Friday by a clear margin. If your dates move at all, that's also the night with more buses open.

The typical group is about a dozen riders, which lands right on the line between a Sprinter limo and a small party bus. Twelve people fit a 12-passenger limo Sprinter exactly, so if two more friends are still deciding, take the 16-passenger party bus instead.

Spring is the crunch. April and May pool weather is when bachelorette weekends stack up, and most groups ask about six weeks out. These are Valley-wide patterns rather than Scottsdale-only counts, but no part of the Valley matches them more closely.

Traffic around Scottsdale

Scottsdale Road and Camelback are the two that will cost you time. Both crawl from about 4 to 6 on weekdays and again after dinner on Friday and Saturday, and Old Town adds street closures for festivals and race weekends. Coming down from North Scottsdale, we usually add fifteen minutes to whatever the map says. Tell us your first reservation time and we'll back the pickup up from there.

Scottsdale weather

From May through September, the hour before sunset is still brutal. We run the AC hard before we arrive so the cabin is cold when you step in, and we'll pull as close to a shaded entrance as the curb allows. Bring water for daytime stops. October through April is the good stuff: a 70-degree evening where the patio stop is the best part of the night.

At a legal curb close to your first stop, usually on the edge of the Entertainment District rather than at the club door. Weekend closures and foot traffic move the exact spot around, so your driver will text you where he is. Agree on one pickup corner for the end of the night and put it in the group chat.

Yes, and it's an easy run. The airport is roughly 10 miles from Old Town, usually 15 to 25 minutes depending on the 202 and 44th Street. Send flight numbers so the pickup time follows the actual landing, and we'll meet you in the commercial pickup area rather than the curb everyone fights over.
Every February. TPC Scottsdale sits up by the 101, and tournament week uses designated drop-off areas that shift year to year, so check the current transportation page before you lock a time. Tell us which day you're going, and plan the ride home for well after the 16th hole clears out.
Either one works, and Valley groups this size split almost evenly between them. The Sprinter limo feels like a private lounge and is easier at a resort entrance. The party bus gives you standing room and a much bigger sound system. If your list might grow past twelve, take the bus and stop worrying about it.
Sure. They're about six miles apart, roughly 15 minutes outside rush hour. A lot of groups do dinner in Scottsdale, ride to Tempe for a show or a few bars, then finish back near the hotel. Just list both cities when you ask for a quote so the hours actually cover the crossing.
Work backward from the ceremony, not the invitation. Guests want to be seated 15 minutes early, loading a full shuttle takes about 10, and resort driveways off Camelback and Lincoln back up on Saturday afternoons. For a venue 20 minutes out, that's leaving about 50 minutes before the ceremony starts.
