Daytime is quieter and just as good. Spur Cross trailheads, trail rides, a slow lunch in town and back before the heat. Groups mixing the two, hiking in the morning and hitting the saloons at night, should book the hours as one block rather than two bookings, and tell us where the change of clothes happens.

Half the addresses here aren't suburban at all. Horse properties on an acre or more, reached by a graded dirt road or a dip through a wash, sometimes behind a gate narrower than the vehicle. Tell us if your road is unpaved, whether there's a gate, and whether a long bus can turn around.
When it can't, we meet on pavement and a lot in the town core does the job. Between July and September, keep a backup spot in mind, because one storm can put water across a wash crossing with no warning.
Downtown has its own quirk. Cave Creek Road runs on dirt shoulders with almost no real curb, and the saloon lots fill early. The bus drops at the door, stages somewhere legal and comes back when you text, so nobody circles.
Friends up in Carefree often share a bus with a Cave Creek group, since the towns are five minutes apart, and WestWorld is an easy run on auction and rodeo weekends. The bachelor party page has itineraries other groups have used.

Cave Creek Road is the whole story. It narrows through town, the shoulders are dirt, and on a Saturday night or a motorcycle weekend it moves at a crawl through the core. Getting in before seven is easy. Getting out at last call is easy too. It's the twenty dark miles after that which convince people to hire a driver.

Sitting a bit higher than Phoenix takes the edge off the evening, and in winter it can genuinely be cold on a saloon patio by nine, so bring a jacket. In summer we start later and keep the walks short. From July into September the monsoon is a real planning factor: storms roll through fast, washes run, and we'll reroute rather than risk a crossing.
