Nine to twelve travelers, or eight to ten once bags are in the picture. Twelve is the single most requested group size in Phoenix, and this is the quiet way to move that many.

Twelve business travelers with more row space than the compact models. It handles conference hotel loops, client hospitality and a leadership outing while keeping the forward-facing, professional layout. The Limo Sprinter at the same capacity is a party vehicle and is not interchangeable.

It is at its best when a client team and internal staff travel in one vehicle. If twelve riders also carry event materials or golf bags, compare a 14-seat Sprinter or a small coach and tell us what the storage plan is.

Be honest about the length of the day

Book the hours you'll actually use. Two thirds of the trips people ask us about are four hours, because most of them are nights out, and a day trip is a completely different animal.

Roughly how long these days really run, door to door:

  • Sedona: about ten hours, two of them each way on the I-17.
  • Verde Valley wine tour: eight or nine, with three tasting rooms at most.
  • Food tour across three Valley cities: six, and it always creeps.

Extra time has historically been cheaper to reserve at the start than to add on the day, with five-hour trips quoting a few hundred dollars above four-hour ones. That's across the whole fleet, not this van, but the lesson carries: a retreat transfer nearly always runs longer than the first draft of the schedule.

Size up or size down?

The 10-passenger executive Sprinter is right for eight or nine people with light bags. The 14-passenger executive Sprinter is the largest executive Sprinter and the better pick when twelve people bring suitcases, since the spare seats end up holding luggage anyway.

Need more than fourteen forward-facing seats? The next vehicle is the 16-passenger coach bus, a mini-coach with reclining high-back seats and a PA system. For a social version of the same headcount, the 12-passenger limo Sprinter has a wet bar and wraparound seating.

A twelve-passenger Sprinter still behaves like a van in traffic and at the curb. It uses the uptown lots in Sedona, winery driveways in Cornville and the visitor lanes at the convention center hotels, places where a full-size coach needs a permit or leaves you with a long walk.

Phoenix tips for this vehicle

  • Coordinate the drop-off time with your resort's event team. Scottsdale porte-cochères get busy and they will tell you when to arrive.
  • Book at least two weeks out for January through March, which is conference season here.
  • For Sedona with 12 travelers, leave by eight in the morning or you lose the day to the drive.
  • Send flight numbers for a Sky Harbor pickup and we will track the arrival.
  • Summer is the quiet season, so short-notice dates are far easier between June and September.
  • Ask about direct billing and W-9 paperwork if your finance team needs it — easier now than after the trip.

It's one of the best vehicles we have for it. Twelve individual seats for the two-hour drive, big windows for the scenery, and small enough to park uptown and at Tlaquepaque. A typical day is ten hours door to door. Pick your must-see stops in advance, because adding Jerome makes it a very long one.
Depends on the bags. Twelve people with carry-ons and laptop bags fit, using the overhead bins. Twelve with large checked suitcases probably don't. For a hotel-to-airport run after a conference, give us the realistic luggage count and we may point you at the 14-passenger executive Sprinter or a small coach.
It cuts motion sickness, gives everyone a seat back to lean on and lets people nap, read or work. Bench seating in a limo-style cabin is fun for an hour and tiring by hour three. For anything beyond the metro, like Sedona, Tucson, Payson or Prescott, the difference is obvious by the time you arrive.
Yes. There's a power outlet and a USB port at every seat plus Wi-Fi. No full tables are listed, so plan on working from your lap. It's well suited to email, documents and calls. For anything confidential, remember it's an open cabin shared with your colleagues and the chauffeur.
For the daytime, yes. Comfortable, discreet at the club and cold after eighteen holes. Club storage caps the group below twelve if everyone brings a bag. There's no bar and no party lighting, so a lot of groups switch to a limo Sprinter or a party bus for the evening. Ask for a quote covering both halves.
Both are at elevation, and winter storms put snow or ice on the I-17 and the Beeline. Trips usually run as planned, but the chauffeur follows conditions and ADOT closures rather than the schedule. Build slack into anything between December and February, and check your quote for how weather changes get handled.
Yes. Youth groups, choir ensembles and church committees book it for day trips because everybody gets a proper forward-facing seat. For a group with minors, tell us the ages and how many adult chaperones are coming when you request the quote. Over fourteen riders, the small coach buses are the next step.
