Is 14 seats the right size?

Eleven to fourteen travelers, or ten to twelve once luggage comes along. This is the most forward-facing seats you can get before moving to a mini-coach.

Armrests, extra legroom, a power outlet and USB at every seat, Wi-Fi, a flat-screen display, a refreshment center and overhead bins. Golf trips, client hospitality and conference shuttles are its day job.

Ten or fewer, take the 12-passenger executive Sprinter. Fourteen people plus full luggage, or a fifteenth traveler, and the 16-passenger coach bus is the step up.

The last step before a coach

Your driver arrives early, says hello and handles the luggage while everyone settles into a forward-facing seat with an outlet already at hand. Give them one contact in the group and the day runs on one set of instructions.

Fourteen professionals with forward-facing seats and no coach footprint. When the headcount, the luggage or an accessibility need grows past this, a 16-passenger coach is the practical next step and we will say so.

Choose it for a settled leadership group, a client cohort or a retreat transfer. Filling all fourteen seats and then adding presentation cases and roller bags does not work — send the bag count with the headcount.

A Scottsdale hospitality day and a Sedona strategy day are different bookings. One depends on curb access and traffic buffers; the other on departure time, driver hours and a planned return. Tell us which one you are running and we will price the real trip.

February fills up, summer doesn't

Two weeks in February decide this vehicle's year. A quarter of the sporting-event requests we get are for that month, when the WM Phoenix Open and the start of Cactus League play land on top of each other.

Client groups and golf trips book those weeks like a holiday, so a fourteen-seat Sprinter for the Phoenix Open needs to be requested well ahead of the field.

The other end of the calendar is the bargain. Barely a fifth of our year falls in June, July and August, which makes summer the easiest time to schedule a company offsite or a run up to a cooler Grand Canyon day, with the widest choice of vehicles and a cold cabin door to door.

Sort the clubs before you sort the seats. Fourteen golfers and fourteen bags won't ride in the same van, whatever the seat count says. Ship them, rent at the course, or send us the gear list and we'll size it around the bags instead of the bodies.

Size up or size down?

The 12-passenger executive Sprinter is the same cabin with two fewer seats and suits ten or eleven. Above fourteen, executive Sprinters stop.

The 16-passenger coach bus and 18-passenger coach bus are mini-coaches with reclining high-back seats, a PA system and overhead bins, and they're longer vehicles that need more curb than this does. For a group of fourteen on a celebration night, the 14-passenger limo Sprinter has the same footprint with a lounge interior, surround sound and a wet bar.

That footprint is the whole point. It uses the standard valet lanes at TPC Scottsdale, Grayhawk and the big resorts, then drops you at a restaurant door in Old Town for the client dinner afterward.

Phoenix tips for this vehicle

  • Coordinate the drop-off time with your resort's event team. Scottsdale porte-cochères get busy and they will tell you when to arrive.
  • Book at least two weeks out for January through March, which is conference season here.
  • For Sedona with 14 travelers, leave by eight in the morning or you lose the day to the drive.
  • Send flight numbers for a Sky Harbor pickup and we will track the arrival.
  • Summer is the quiet season, so short-notice dates are far easier between June and September.
  • Ask about direct billing and W-9 paperwork if your finance team needs it — easier now than after the trip.

Yes. Fourteen is the largest one in our fleet. For fifteen or more travelers who still want forward-facing seats, the next option is a 16 or 18-passenger coach bus, which is a mini-coach with reclining seats. Some groups of sixteen to twenty prefer two Sprinters so they can split by tee time or hotel.
Start with the clubs, not the people. Fourteen golfers with full bags need more storage than this cabin has, so the options are shipping clubs ahead, renting at the course, or booking something with real luggage space. Send us courses and tee times. North Scottsdale is thirty to forty-five minutes from most resorts.
Yes. For a small conference or a VIP track, a fourteen-seat Sprinter looping between a hotel and the convention center or a resort ballroom every twenty or thirty minutes works well. It loads faster than a coach and uses standard valet lanes. Give us expected rider counts by hour so the loop matches demand.
Practical and long. The South Rim is three and a half to four hours each way from Phoenix, so you're looking at a twelve to fourteen hour day. Forward-facing seats, power and Wi-Fi all help, though coverage fades north of Flagstaff. There's no on-board restroom, so stops get planned into the route.
Less than you'd expect, because everyone has an individual seat with armrests and legroom rather than sharing a bench. What fills up is storage: with fourteen aboard, no seat is free for bags. For a fully loaded trip, keep personal items small enough for the overhead bins or your lap.
Yes. It's a discreet, comfortable way to get clients to the tournament's charter drop area and back to the resort. Tournament week is the busiest week of the year for transportation in Scottsdale, and access rules change annually. Request your date early and tell us which day and which entrance your passes use.
Ask us when you request the quote. The executive Sprinter has a manageable step and stand-up headroom, which helps a rider using a cane or needing a handhold on the way to a seat. A wheelchair lift isn't among its listed features. If someone needs lift access, say so up front and we'll point you elsewhere.
