Local days barely touch the clock. The Olive Mill, Schnepf and the tasting rooms sit within fifteen minutes of each other, which is why three stops fit an afternoon comfortably — the tasting tour page paces them. Spring afternoons turn fast out here, so the weather checker is worth a glance.

Name a landmark and a time before anyone wanders off. On festival weekends the parking is a large dirt field, cell service gets swamped, and by dark every row looks identical. One agreed meeting point is the difference between leaving on time and spending forty minutes collecting people.

Heading out of town is where hours disappear: the Gilbert Heritage District is fifteen miles, Mill Avenue about thirty, and Old Town closer to forty with fifty to sixty minutes on the clock each way.
