Airport and corporate shuttles in Phoenix
About 1.8% of Phoenix group-transportation requests involve Sky Harbor, and almost all of them are attached to something else — a wedding weekend, a conference, a corporate offsite. Corporate requests themselves are the longest bookings we handle: 7 hours on average, two-thirds on weekdays, with December the busiest month thanks to holiday parties. This guide covers how both work, which vehicle fits, and the rules that matter most.
Which vehicle
- Executive Sprinter (10–14): forward-facing captain's chairs, Wi-Fi, power, luggage room. The default for a leadership team, a client dinner, or an airport-to-resort transfer. See executive Sprinters.
- Shuttle bus (16–30): forward-facing seats with belts, luggage space, lift options. The workhorse for hotel-to-venue loops and department outings.

- Party bus: yes, for corporate. Team celebrations, holiday parties, and Cactus League outings — December groups average 19 riders, the largest of the year. See corporate events.
Sky Harbor pickup rules
- 30 minutes. Airport arrivals have 30 minutes after landing to collect luggage and meet the driver. If you need more time — international arrivals, checked bags for a big group — book it in advance.
- No-show. After 30 minutes with no contact, the reservation is treated as a no-show and charged in full. Call as soon as a flight is delayed or missed; last-minute notice at pickup time may still be a no-show.
- Where to meet. Charter vehicles use the commercial ground-transportation curb, not the passenger pickup lanes. The driver will confirm the terminal and door; the Sky Harbor venue guide covers the curb layout.
- Luggage. Count bags as well as people. An executive Sprinter at 14 riders with 14 checked bags is full; a shuttle or coach gives luggage its own space.
Flight tracking
Give us the flight number when you book. Your driver adjusts to the actual arrival — but the 30-minute window still starts when the plane lands, so call if baggage is slow.
Planning a corporate shuttle
- Send the agenda, not just the addresses. Doors-open times, keynote starts, and dinner reservations tell us where the buffers need to be.
- Use the weekday advantage. Sixty-six percent of corporate rides are Sunday–Thursday, where a 3-hour minimum is often listed. Friday and Saturday nights are 4 hours; spring Saturdays are 6.
- Loops beat single runs. For a hotel-to-venue shuttle, a 30–40 passenger bus on a 20-minute loop moves 80+ people over an hour without a second vehicle.
- Accessibility. Tell us about wheelchair or step-free needs first; lift-equipped shuttles are confirmed before you sign. See accessible group transportation.
- Long days. Anything over about 12 hours needs driver lodging or a second driver. Multi-day conferences get a custom quote from the full schedule.
How corporate pricing works
The same as every trip: one all-inclusive number covering the vehicle, licensed and insured driver, fuel, taxes, and gratuity — so there is nothing for an assistant to reconcile afterward. Trips beyond about 30 miles or out of state price on mileage; we quote the local rate first and confirm any adjustment. A 50% deposit and signed contract reserve the vehicle; the balance is due 7–14 days out. Booking on behalf of an executive is routine: we need the payer's name and email, the cardholder completes verification, and we collect an on-site contact for the day.
