How to read a result

Start with the vote count, not the percentage. Eighty percent of ten votes is eight people. Eighty percent of several hundred is a pattern.

  • Look at the gap. Two to one on a taste question, like whether LED lighting matters, is a real signal.
  • A 52 to 48 split means riders are divided, so go with what your own group wants.
  • Check the total. A poll with twelve votes is a conversation, not a finding.

Then remember who is voting: people on this site, most of them mid-plan. That skews toward people who care about the details, which is arguably whose opinion you want anyway.

Putting results to work

Turning a result into a plan

If the vehicle polls have you leaning one way, check the size before you commit. Around a dozen riders the choice really is a coin flip, so compare the 14-passenger limo Sprinter with the 16-passenger party bus and pick the cabin your people would rather sit in.

Once you are past sixteen riders the polls stop mattering much and the headcount decides for you. That is when the party bus pages are the better place to browse.

Vote count first, percentage second.The polls worth planning around are the ones with hundreds of votes behind them. On everything else, use the result to start the conversation with your group, then call us with the date and the headcount and we’ll tell you what’s open.

From votes cast on the polls page and on the poll blocks that appear across this site. Every poll is about group transportation, the events people book it for, or the Valley cities they ride in. What you see is the running total in our polls database at the moment the page loads.
They are live. The page reads the totals when it loads and a new vote moves the count straight away. If a poll shows few or no votes, it is either new or a niche topic. Nothing here is padded, seeded or estimated.
It marks whichever option is ahead in that poll right now. If two options are tied, both get one. Leaders change as votes come in, so a trophy on a poll with a handful of votes is worth a lot less than one on a poll with hundreds.
Each option's votes divided by the total on that poll, rounded to a whole number. That is why a poll can add up to 99 or 101. The raw vote count sits next to the bar so you can judge how much weight the result deserves.
It is what this page opens on, and it lists the polls with the biggest vote totals across every category. It is the fastest way to see where riders have strong opinions. Pick a category from the list to see every poll in that topic, most-voted first.
This page is for reading. To cast a vote, open the same category on the polls page, where each poll takes one vote per browser. There is a link under the results that takes you there with the category already selected.
Use them as one input, not the deciding one. They are genuinely useful on taste questions: lighting, music, limo versus party bus. Sizing and timing should come from your headcount and from our Phoenix inquiry data, which shows that once a group hits 16 riders the answer is almost always a party bus.
